Boarding

Our rates are less expensive than vets or other boarding facilities, but we assure you that the quality is way above average! We do not ask extra fees for holidays. We do ask that you bring a cage for your bird to stay in, but we do have some cages if needed. Book them early, as they tend to fill up fast around holidays and popular vacation times. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible before a visit, but we will never turn away a last minute guest...as they say, life happens!

Boarding includes daily cage cleaning, water changing as necessary, food change/top-up, fresh foods (cleaned up after 2 hours so no contamination occurs), daily out of cage time with interaction/cuddles if they want it. Guests will receive complementary nail and wing trimming if requested.

Guests are treated to a daily complementary breakfast OR dinner. Breakfast for the birds usually includes eggs, whole grain toast, cereal, yoghurt and seasonal fruit. Dinner for the birds usually includes pasta, vegetables, varied meats and a treat (nutriberry/nut) for dessert.

Why Use Our Services, Rather Than a Vet's?

Vets clinics are where you would take a sick bird for treatment or a check-up, not a happy, healthy one for a vacation. You go on vacation for variety and new experiences, which is exactly what we would like to provide for our guests. Most vet clinics are open regular business hours so the staff goes home at night leaving the boarders completely alone when they are used to getting the most attention. Vet clinics will tell you that they do not allow free flight or play time due to the risk of incident, while we offer hours of supervised flight/play time. Vets will also require a full vet examination (at least a $70 cost) before boarding.
